Thieves STILL f’ing suck… But Amazon.com ROCKS!

Just a quick update — not an hour after contacting Amazon and explaining what had happened with my SSD drive, they wrote me back an apology letter and have scheduled to have a replacement drive shipped to me overnight.  According to their site, I should receive it on Friday.  That’s just absolutely amazing customer service!

Contrast that with Dell who told me on three separate occasions that they were canceling my order due to the delays — and then sent me a shipment confirmation yesterday.  That’s another fight I’ll have to have, and I doubt it’ll go quite as well; I already contacted them and they told me to call them once I receive the package to talk about restocking fees and return shipping charges.  Whatever…
